I’m Helen, I’ve just turned 40 (eeek) and I live in York, UK with my two cats, Minnie and Mollie, who are very good and don’t interfere with my various crafty activities, although Moll does like to try and sit on my knee whilst I’m knitting. She’s also fascinated by anything I’m trying to photograph…..
I learnt to spin about 18 months ago, and have recently started sewing again, with my lovely new (to me) Bernina sewing machine. My next project is going to be learning to weave. I go through phases of different crafts, so you’ll see a few weeks of frantic knitting, then a bit of spinning or sewing, and hopefully weaving soon, but knitting is my first love, and I’ll always come back to it.
I also collect old children’s books, especially girls’ school stories.
Hi Helen,
As you can see my name is Minnie Moll. A bonkers name…and one I have never ever seen anywhere else.
Just delighted to see the name of your company and to have a look at your lovely site.
Wishing you well with everything you do,
Minnie

Hi Helen:
I’d like to feature one of your posts on my blog at http://www.artsandcraftsbungalow.com
Please contact me at: susanlgreig {at} gmail.com
Can I please sign onto your blog? Am a lifelong crafter now living at one end of the earth (eastern shore of Virginia, just a bit of land that trails off into the Atlantic). Would be so pleased to read of what knitters and quilters in the UK are doing. With thanks, Lynn
PS: great cats! I have two, one black and one white.
Hi Helen, Your site came up as I was looking for a copy of Louisa Harding’s #25 Dream Catcher pattern book. I wonder if you know of a copy I can get without paying $65. on Amazon. Ravelry doesn’t seem to have the patterns I am looking for. Can you help me ?
